Hit the Road
Sunday, August 22, 2010 10:40 PMKathy has been here all weekend, well since Saturday at about 4pm. I'm over joyed to have her here. She's such a beautiful girl and has an amazing personality. I learn so much from her every time she is here. I love that we haven't seen each other for about 2 months and she was even over seas and when we see each other it's exciting but more like we have seen each other just the other day. I love her...so so much. I finally bought a car, after losing my second car to a car accident that wasn't my fault and after having my third car broken into while sitting in front of Shawn's apartment building. To be honest I'm a little nervous about having a car again. A little nervous about getting into a worse car accident or one that is my fault. Or even getting stranded or in a bad situation or bad weather. I used to be really confident driving but I am very scared now...lots of things scare me while driving personally and when I'm a passenger. My heart jumps at almost every intersection at least once and it makes me so sad because I wish to be a confident driver again. I'm excited to start driving this car and I pray over it that it will be a sound car and will not ever leave me stranded or anything. Anyway, I bought a 1999 Chevrolet Malibu, it's white and it's in really great shape. Really low k.m.'s so the engine is really good and my uncle Dwayne (a mechanic by trade) has worked on it since this last owner has had it. So that's a really good to know because he is an awesome mechanic and I trust his work. On this inside you would guess it's hardly been used because of the awesome shape it's in. So, tomorrow is my first day driving it other than getting it home. I'm going to get insurance and registration at 8:30am tomorrow morning with Kathy and then driving to work. Maybe I'll go see Shawn after work...cause I can. Awesome. Thanks God, for my car and my freedom again.
